Connection Settings
Client computers can be configured to retrieve configuration files from a Central Control server running on a Windows 2000 or 2003 server. Central Control is compatible with any LDAP directory server, including Novell NDS.

Computer Manager
Shut down, reboot, or log off remote computers with Central Control.  Central Control is the network add-on to Clean Slate and Fortres 101.  When Central Control is purchased and installed on a network server, Clean Slate and Fortres 101 upgrades can be distributed to remote computers.

Security Group Manager
Central Control can retrieve the existing users in a Windows 2000 or 2003 Domain, Novell NDS, or any LDAP directory server.

Windows 2000/2003 Server
Central Control is installed on a Windows 2000 or 2003 server. The server side of Central Control stores Fortres 101 and Clean Slate configuration files and can be used to define Virtual Servers. Security is not configured on the server. Clean Slate and Fortres 101 security is configured from any computer on the network.
