Desktop Settings: The Desktop Settings window is used to configure how users can interact with the Windows desktop; if printing is allowed; and what access is allowed with the Breadcrumb Bar, Navigation Buttons, Side Bar, and Gadgets in the Side Bar. |

| File & Registry Settings: The Secure File System component in the File & Registry Settings of Fortres 101 gives the ability to protect all or part of any drive on the computer. With the secure file system running, a user can even have access to a DOS prompt and not be able to alter or delete files that are protected. |
Internet Settings: Internet Settings is used to configure the filtering of Web page access on a workstation using Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. Fortres 101 intercepts all browser traffic through its filter, applying the settings from the window. |

| Diagnostics: Fortres 101 records all file operations that it alters or blocks and the list is displayed in the Diagnostics window. This allows for easy accommodation of the file access needs of any DOS or Windows program. |
Central Control: Shut down, reboot, or log off remote computers with Central Control. Central Control is the network add-on to Fortres 101. When Central Control is purchased and installed on a network server, Fortres 101 upgrades can be distributed to remote computers. |

| Log Off and Shut Down Options: The Log off and Shut Down Option window provides an easy method to determine what access a user has to the shut Down options, customize International Shut Down text , and whether the user can change the Windows password. |
Privileged Application Property Window: Using the Privileged Application property window, configure certain applications to have special access to files on the hard drive. |

| Special Applications: When Fortres 101 is installed, it scans your computer for all the programs listed in the Special Applications window. If any of the programs are detected, Fortres 101 automatically configures itself to allow the listed programs to run properly, without Fortres 101 interference, relieving you from the task. |
